twin yards celebrates spring festival
There was an ebullient mood at the spring festival held at the innovative “twin yards” office complex in the Munich Parkstadt Schwabing. Together with investors, developers and project partners, the project company Top Office Munich GmbH celebrated the brisk pace of construction.
The 13,600 square metre “twin yards” office building will be a prestigious address for many companies come autumn 2015. The first tenant will be the general contractor Porr Deutschland GmbH itself, who also erected the building. To date, 70% of the office space has already been leased. “This is evidence of the quality of the building and the location”, affirmed Rainer Krütten, Managing Director of WealthCap Management Capital Holding GmbH, which acquired the property in March 2015.
twin yards is a project being developed by Top Office Munich GmbH, a joint venture involving the Münchner Grundbesitz Verwaltungs GmbH, a Rosa-Alscher Group company, and STRAUSS & PARTNER, a subsidiary of UBM. Company founder and initiator of the joint venture, Dr. Alexander Rosa-Alscher, emphasised the importance of good architecture at the start of the celebrations. “Architecture is an investment in the future,” declared Rosa-Alscher. He also praised the flawless execution of the construction project: “It is a pleasure to work with property developers like Porr.”
The Europe-wide project developers and joint venture partner STRAUSS & PARTNER – Member of UBM is impressed by the project’s success. Karl-Heinz Strauss, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UBM Development AG, attaches particular importance to the sustainability and functionality of properties. Both criteria are impressively reflected in “twin yards” and further endorsed by the success in leasing the space. The PORR Group boss made special mention in front of the 250 guests of the exemplary teamwork of all those involved and the outstanding partnership with the Rosa-Alscher Group: “That is the basis of the project’s success.”
In a relaxed atmosphere with live music, the guests were able to follow the construction of the twin yards in time-lapse in the spacious foyer and form a comprehensive picture of the future visual appearance of the office complex. The first companies will be able to take up tenancy in the “twin yards” from autumn 2015.
